Bear & Raven – The Ancient Crossing
This large hand-painted river stone holds the meeting of sky and earth.
Raven and Bear face one another across the golden labyrinth — the inward path, the remembering path, the marrow path walked by those who listen.
Encircling the stone are the words:
Raven draws my spirit into the vast, wind-worn sky.
Bear presses my bones into the dark, breathing earth.
In their ancient crossing, I remember my first name.
These words are not decorative.
They are invocation.
They are orientation.
They are remembrance.
Raven is vision, threshold, wind-carried knowing.
Bear is endurance, rooted strength, the keeper of deep time within the body.
Together they form the axis between above and below — sky and soil — spirit and bone.
