Holda....So much folklore about this German Goddess. She can appear in many forms from maiden to hag.  I see her as guardian to the otherworld who lives in the old mountain forests. The Elder tree known as Hollunder in Germany is closely associated with her. A tree rich in medicinal value and faery myths. 
 
This is a Gliclee Archival A4 29.7cm x 21cm ( image 19cm x19cm ) print using Archival pigment inks on 240gm professional cotton rag premium Matt inkjet Paper ensuring a longevity of at least 100 years.  Hand embellished with gold. The original painting is painted in acrylic on board  and a tree photograph by Beth Wildwood ! The print will be packed flat in a carded envelope box
