The Greening Spirit rises at the turning of the year, when the dark soil begins to stir and the first green breath returns to the land.
She stands between root and sky, holding the ancient labyrinth within her body,  the winding path of life moving quietly through seed, branch, and bone. 
The hare rests at her feet, a messenger of quickening life and wild renewal, while the blackbird carries the first song of returning light.
This print is taken from my original painting and has been hand embellished with gold, bringing light and depth to the labyrinth and sacred details of the piece. 
The Greening Spirit speaks of the moment when the earth begins to remember itself again,  when sap rises in the trees, the moss brightens, and the wild places awaken after winter's long sleep.
