Wild Boar • Bristle, Tusk and the Old Earth
A special little Wild Boar art and booklet set, bringing together two of the pieces I created during my recent work with this powerful woodland animal.
The main A5 fine-art print features my Wild Boar Spirit figure emerging from the dark woodland, surrounded by the marks, tracks and symbols that have developed throughout this collection.
 Each print is individually hand embellished, including beautiful touches of metallic gold upon the Wild Boar sigil, making every one slightly different.
Alongside it is a smaller Wild Boar print, again individually hand embellished, showing Boar in profile with my sigil carried across his body.
The set comes with my Wild Boar booklet, Bristle, Tusk and the Old Earth, exploring the real animal, his relationship with our ancestors, European folklore and old stories, spiritual meaning, instinct, protection, the turning of the earth and ways of working with Wild Boar throughout the seasons.
Also included is my Wild Boar sigil sticker, created especially for this collection.
For me, Wild Boar belongs close to the ground: dark soil beneath the leaves, the scent of root and rain, heavy footprints disappearing into the underwood. He carries something strong and enduring, something that reminds us to trust instinct, hold our boundaries and sometimes have the courage to turn the old ground and see what lies beneath.
